We’re pleased to share our International design project located on the beautiful island of Turks & Caicos with it’s beautiful turqoise waters and white sand beaches.
It all began when we received the floorplans for these bright and airy 3 level vacation townhomes. From there we started developing the design plan throughout including the stunning walk out terrace located on the 3rd floor off the primary bedroom.
Keeping a classic timeless coastal style, we selected sand coloured porcelain flooring throughout which emulates the beautiful beaches of the island. In addition, to elevate the main floor, we added some modern wood design elements to the walls and ceilings giving the space a casual relaxing vibe. The colour palette was kept neutral throughout with hits of colour through the artwork selected. Although the palette is neutral and clean we incorporated a lot of textures and natural elements with woven furniture, wood elements and a beautiful rattan pendant located over the dining room table on the main floor. Breezy sheers dance around the windows as the warm tropical breeze flows through the space.
We are greatful for our trade suppliers who we collaborated with during the furniture selection process. So many things needed to be considered such as timelines, budget and logistics in getting things delivered to the island. Storage containers were loaded in the GTA and made their way by boat to Miami where they were redirected to the island.
No detail was overlooked in this project – right down to the cutlery!
